Only one pet per person is allowed.
China has a specific requirement: the rabies antibody test must be taken after the second rabies vaccination.
In other words, the pet must have two valid rabies vaccinations at the time of testing. The blood sample for the rabies titer test can be taken on the same day as the second vaccination or any time after.
The pet must enter China while both vaccinations are still valid. This means that the expiry dates of both rabies vaccines must be later than the pet’s arrival date in China.
For example, I have vaccinated my dog on April 1st, I wait 30 days, on May 1st I do the second mandatory vaccine and on the same day I can do the rabies test. And I can enter China until March 31st next year.
Or my dog was vaccinated on January 1st (the vaccine is still valid), I do the second mandatory vaccine today and do blood sample today. I can enter China till December 31st.
